September 4 and 5, 2021: the Bundeskunsthalle invited Ingrid Berger Myhre to develop a site-specific adaptation of her “treasure hunt” – developed as part of Dancing Museums 2 – to be part of the exhibition Beuys-Lehmbruck. Thinking is Sculpture.
Along the lines of Joseph Beuys‘ concept of social sculpture and its expansion of the concept of art, the Bundeskunsthalle’s series Mediation in Movement (Vermittlung in Bewegung) expands the spectrum of visitor experiences in exhibitions. It includes physical and intuitive dimensions that activate multiple senses.
Ingrid Berger Myhre met curators, architects and art historians in her research and then used her intelligent artistic approach to create a unique version of her choreographic parcours through the Bundeskunsthalle.
