This short video captures the final residency of Museum of Human E-motions in Kaoshiung (Taiwan).
Museum of Human E-motions (Sept 2019 to Jan 2020) was an initial collaboration between two partners of Dancing Museums (Centro per la Scena Contemporanea Bassano del Grappa, in Italy and La Briqueterie – CDCN du Val-de-Marne, in France) and two Asian partners (The National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts – Weiwuying, in Taiwan and The Saison Foundation, in Japan).
Between September 2019 and January 2020, four artists – Sorour Darabi (FR), Masako Matsushita (IT), Teita Iwabuchi (JP) and Ming-Hwa Yeh (TW) – spent two to three weeks in each of the partners’ four cities, developing a short creation inspired by a human emotion.
NB: The residency in Japan received additional support from the Italian Institute of Culture of Tokyo.
