Elisabetta Bisaro, project manager of Dancing Museums, is one of the guest speakers invited to contribute to the panel “From Performance to Installations: Practices of Interaction Between Theatres and Museums, organised by the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum

What forms of cooperation between museums and theatres exist? What is the benefit of the joint work of museum and theatre institutions with each other? What is the world practice of interaction between theatres and museums in the implementation of successful collaborative projects? And what difficulties arise when working on museum and theatre projects?

Elisabetta will talk about Dancing Museums and how the collaboration between museums and dance venues have contributed to shift the perceptions of what dance and the body can be in a museum and of what a museum can be.

This panel is part of Open Lectures Culture 2.0, a permanent discussion programme that the Cultural Forum proposes in a hybrid form. As international guests cannot travel to Russia due to sanitary restrictions, they will be able to contribute to the onine discussion, while Russian speakers will be physically present at the venue.
