September 4 @ 11:00 am - September 5 @ 6:00 pmBundeskunsthalle (DE) – Official Partner
Along the lines of Joseph Beuys‘ concept of social sculpture and its expansion of the concept of art, the Bundeskunsthalle’s series Mediation in Movement (Vermittlung in Bewegung) expands the spectrum of visitor experiences in exhibitions. It includes physical and intuitive dimensions that activate multiple senses.
The choreographic journey by the dance artist Ingrid Berger Myhre, which was created as part of Dancing Museums II, aligns to this approach in a unique way. For this reason, the Bundeskunsthalle invited her to the exhibition Beuys-Lehmbruck. Thinking is Sculpture to develop a site-specific adaptation.
Ingrid Berger Myhre will meet curators, architects and art historians in her research and then use her fine, intelligent artistic approach to create a unique version of her choreographic parcours through the Bundeskunsthalle.
You can experience the outcome under the title A Closer Look on September 4th and 5th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
