In recent years, participatory practices at the crossroads between visual and performing arts, architecture, political activism and social inclusion processes have become central, generating numerous debates from different perspectives. It is a relaunch that comes from the urgency to rethink the public space in the digital and social networks era, to give a new breath to democracy and pluralism, to decline concepts with greater awareness of equality and solidarity, to find alternative political, social and cultural models on which to reset our lives. This transdisciplinary seminar is intended as a deepening of key themes concerning our present and the research conducted in the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
Seminar organised by Cristina Baldacci, Susanne Franco, Giulia Garofalo Geymonat.
