Fieke Dieleman has been working as a programmer of public activities for the Education and Interpretation Department at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) since 2009.

In her work she invites artists of different disciplines to reflect on the museum’s collection, temporary exhibitions and its audiences.

In the recent years dance and movement, but also spoken word, poetry, music and other forms of performing arts and artists have played a major role in the museum’s programmes.

Fieke has been involved in Dancing Museums since the start in 2015, where the museum started an intensive collaboration with choreographer Connor Schumacher. The collaboration continued after the project finished, resulting in several performances, movement classes and performative, interactive guided tours by Schumacher in the museum.

Fieke holds an MA Education in Arts.
