Miriam Barhoum is programme curator at the Bundeskunsthalle, where she is responsible for the live arts programme, which consists of dance, music, theatre and performance.
The programme aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary working artists and collectives.
As performances within the museums context play a vital part in her programming, she managed the realisation of the Reperformances for the Marina Abramović Exhibition in 2018.
After graduating with an M.A. in Media and Cultural Studies from Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf, Miriam moved to London for seven years where she was able to gain extensive experience from working in the arts and cultural sector, especially within the field of audience development and engagement.
