Sandra Neuveut entered dance through practice, at the Avignon Conservatory, then at the Center Chorégraphique National (CCN) in Montpellier.
A triple course of higher education in public law, in administration of territorial authorities and in the performing arts, established her attachment to public service and aesthetic openness.
She began her career at the Médiathèque Fellini in Montpellier, then worked within the Music & Dance association in Languedoc-Roussillon, where she ran the Itinerary of Dance operation, a program to disseminate and raise awareness of contemporary dance. From 2002, she led a mission within the CCN of Montpellier for the design of projects in association with the National Education, while supporting projects from choreographers Laurent Pichaud, Laure Bonicel and Boris Charmatz. The collaboration with the latter extended over the following 15 years, as administrator of the company Edna until 2009 then as deputy director of the Musée de la danse – CCN de Rennes et de Bretagne until 2018. Recently, her professional career has been enriched by working in artistic consultation, festival coordination and young people project facilitation, in particular for the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris.
Sandra Neuveut was appointed as director of La Briqueterie-CDCN du Val-de-Marne in January 2021.
