How can the Arts Work Towards Inclusion?

25 Nov 2019 - 2 Dec 2019

Vitry-sur-Seine/Paris

The workshop in Vitry-sur-Seine will involve La Briqueterie – CDCN du Val de Marne and the MAC VAL Museum. It will focus on the following question: ‘How can the arts work towards inclusion?’.

Questions of inclusion and the role of cultural centres and culture as tools for urban regeneration, and their impact on social-advancement initiatives will be at the basis of the research, as both organisations are based in the suburbs of a large city and in an area of major urban developmental transformation.

Ana Pi, together with the other DM international artists, will question notions of inclusion and decolonisation. At a moment when the world is shaking, how can we feel the ground?

Public presentation on 1st December at the MAC VAL
