02 Jul 2021 - 2 Jul 2021

Rotterdam partners Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and Dansateliers Rotterdam, and choreographer Ingrid Berger Myhre present the public webinar Dancing Museums: Choreographing Attention.

An introduction to, and a brief history of, the Dancing Museums project will be given by Betsy Gregory, followed by a conversation between dramaturg Monica Gillette and choreographer Ingrid Berger Myhre.

A conversation on shifting awareness and choreographing attention, the talk will retrace Ingrid’s research throughout the project, creating a parcours and making several stops (landmarks) along the way. Ingrid uses choreography as a tool to guide attention and to address not simply what we watch, but how we see. With a playful touch she often works with language as a framing device to suggest curious perspectives and to practice critical thinking.

July 2, 11:00-12:30 CET, online.
